Five members of a family were injured, three of them seriously, when their car collided with another vehicle near Tharaj village in the district today.
The injured have been referred to a hospital in Jalandhar, police said.
The family was returning after paying obeisance at Gurdwara Talwandi Sabo, police said.
The family belongs to Dhilwan village of Jalandhar district, police said.
The driver of unidentified vehicle fled from the spot after the accident, police said, adding that they have registered a case.
