5 robbers arrested in Odisha

With the arrest of five persons, police today claimed to have foiled a dacoity attempt in Gangapur area of Odisha's Ganjam district.

Five members of a gang of robbers were nabbed from the school ground at Khteriya Berhampur under Gangapaur police station limit, police said.

A country made pistol and five sharp weapons were seized from them, Gangapur police station's Inspector in-charge Chitta Ranjan Behera said.
