At least 50 members of a marriage party, including the groom, were injured when a bus carrying them fell into a pond in Musajhag area here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the driver lost control over the vehicle and the bus carrying 70 persons fell into the pond.
The injured, including the groom Patiram, were rushed to a hospital, where a number of them were discharged after first aid while condition of two of them was stated to be serious.
The marriage party was going to Shahjahanpur.
