6 pc DA hike for Punjab employees

The Punjab government today announced 6 per cent hike in dearness allowance for its employees and pensioners due from July 1, 2015.

According to an official spokesman, the finance department issued a communique under which 6 per cent hike in DA would be paid to employees in cash with the salary or pension of January.

The spokesman said with this rise, the rate of DA would enhance to 119 per cent of the basic pay or pension from the earlier 113 per cent.
