Over 60 people were hospitalised after they consumed stewed dishes sold by a supermarket in central China's Hunan Province, officials said today.
The villagers developed symptoms of vomiting, dizziness and muscle weakness after eating stewed dishes they bought from the local supermarket in Xiangtan County, the officials said.
The villagers have been admitted to a hospital and are stated to be in stable condition, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
