Aadiperukku celebrated with enthusiasm in TN

Thousands of People gathered at the banks of Cauvery river to offer prayers on the auspicious "Aadiperukku" day today.

Women offered aarthi and tied new Mangalya sutra on the river bank.

In Madurai, thousands of people gathered at Noopura ganga in nearby Alagar Malai to offer worship and take bath in the falls.

Prayers were also conducted at Erode and Salem districts.
