AAP hits out at MCDs

The Aam Aadmi Party today hit out at the BJP-ruled MCD alleging that a "bribery racket" exists in construction activities.

Speaking at a press conference, AAP MLA Jarnail Singh questioned the MCD about unauthorised construction.

"What happened to unauthorised properties? MCD officials, backed by the BJP, engage in underhand dealings with owners of those properties," he alleged.

The party demanded that the MCDs introduce a policy to prevent "brazen loot of public money under the name of illegal construction".
