A case of girl abduction has been registered by the police today on the complaint of a Shastri Nagar resident here.
Satyavan, father of the 16-year-old girl, complained that one youth had took his daughter away on March 5, police said.
When the parents failed to trace her whereabouts, they filed a complaint yesterday.
Efforts were on to trace the girl as well as her abductor, police added.
