Absconder held in Jammu

An absconder wanted in an attempt to murder and rioting cases in Jammu's Pakka Danga was arrested today, police said.

Shubham Gill, a resident of Dogra hall, had been evading arrest for the last one year after he was named in an FIR registered at police station Pacca Danga in the city last year, police said.

"Gill was facing various charges, including attempt to murder, rioting, and wrongful confinement to extort property," a police official said.
