'Acclaimed' wins the main race

Favourite, 'Acclaimed' ably ridden by P Trevor, claimed The Deccan Bookmakers Colts Championship Stakes (Grade III) in record time, at the chief event of Hyderabad Monsoon races held here today.

Winner was trained by Shroff.

Trainer Deshmukh scored treble while Jockies P S Chouhan scored a quadruple and P Trevor scored a double.

Five first favourites obliged in a card of seven events.
