AIADMK wins seven seats

Results for eight constituencies in Tamil Nadu were declared with AIADMK bagging seven and DMK one seat.

Jayanthi Padmanaban (AIADMK) defeated K Rajamarthandan (DMK) at Gudiyatham by 11,470 votes.

At Poompuhar, P Pavunraj (AIADMK) defeated Shajahan AM (IUML) by 19,935 votes.

S Raja (AIADMK) defeated T K Rajeswaran (Congress) by 37,374 votes at Sankagiri.

Periyapullan alias Selvam (AIADMK) defeated AP Ragupathy (DMK) by 19,723 votes in Melur.

Balasubramani (AIADMK) defeated Nazir Ahmed (MMK) by a margin of 28,006 votes in Ambur.

N Natarajan (AIADMK) defeated Jerome Arockiaraj G (Congress) by 21,894 votes in Tiruchirappalli-East.

V Radhakrishnan (AIADMK) defeated K Anbazhagan (DMK) by 4,778 votes in Mayiladuthurai.
 

Durai Murugan (DMK) retained Katpadi, defeating S R K Appu (AIADMK) by a margin of 23,946 votes.
