Ajay Jasra joins IndiGo as Head of Corp Communications

Ajay Jasra has joined budget carrier IndiGo as Head of Corporate Communications.

This is the first time the Gurgaon-based no-frills airline has appointed a person for such a position.

Sources said Jasra in his new position will handle external and internal communication of the airline besides supporting the brand.

An industry veteran, Jasra brings with him over 22 years of experience in the relevant field.

Before joining IndiGo Jasra was with SpiceJet.

The country's largest airline by market share, IndiGo currently operates 890 flights per day connecting 41 destinations, including five overseas.
