Amarinder Singh condoles death of veteran Akali leader Kuldip Wadala

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has condoled the death of veteran Akali leader Kuldip Singh Wadala, who passed away at the age of 86 in his native village Wadala in Jalandhar today, after a brief illness.

Kuldip Wadala is survived by four sons and three daughters.

He was the former MLA from Nakodar, which is now represented by his son Gurpartap Singh Wadala.

In his condolence message, the chief minister said Kuldip Singh Wadala was a seasoned politician, who made relentless efforts for the opening of a special corridor from Dera Baba Nanak to Sri Kartarpur Sahib, the birth place of first Sikh Guru Nanak Dev.

 

The chief minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on their loss.
