AMWJU condemns attack on Arunachal scribe

A spokesman for the journalists' union said it held an emergency executive meeting last evening where the "cowardly attack" was described as a challenge to the freedom of the press.

Rina, also president of the Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists, was shot at by some gunmen at her office and was reported to be in a critical condition in the hospital.
