AMWJU condemns attack on Arunachal scribe

A spokesman for the journalists' union said it held an emergency executive meeting last evening where the "cowardly attack" was described as a challenge to the freedom of the press.

Rina, also president of the Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists, was shot at by gunmen at her office and has been admitted to a hospital.
