"Man of Steel" star Amy Adams gave up her first-class ticket to a soldier on a Los Angeles-bound flight.
The 39-year-old actress asked a flight attendant if she could swap places and hurried back to his seat, the New York Daily News reported.
"I didn't do it for attention for myself. I did it for attention for the Troops," she said.
Adams, the daughter of an Army officer, was flying from the Detroit set of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," reprising her role as ace reporter Lois Lane.
