Andhra Pradesh lift All-India Postal cricket trophy

Andhra Pradesh today won the 28th All-India Inter-Postal cricket trophy by defeating Tamil Nadu by 83 runs in the final here today.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Andhra Pradesh scored a competitive 276 for 6 wickets in 40 overs at the Port Stadium. The Andhra's innings was centred around S Kranthi Kumar, who hit a brilliant 125.

Tamil Nadu folded up for just 193 in 32.4 overs. K Rajesh took two wickets by conceding 54 runs.
