Animal protection group to reward info of dog abuse in Hry

An animal protection group has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for information about dog in Haryana, leading to for the culprits.

The reward will be given for information leading to identification, arrest and conviction of persons responsible for abusing a dog, said a statement of (India) said.

We request citizens to discourage animal cruelty and report any abusive behaviour against animals," said N G Jayasimha, of HSI,

Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act states that it is a punishable offence to or inflict pain to animals in any form.
