: Former Congress minister, K Ramachandran Master today approached the Kerala High Court seeking a direction to CBI for a fresh investigation into the entire conspiracy behind the fabrication of the 1994 ISRO espionage case.
According to the petitioner, espionage case was 'cooked up' with 'ulterior motive' to sabotage the development of cryogenic engine technology by India in collaboration wtih Russia.
It was American intelligence agency CIA's masterplan to sabotage the technology plan to protect US financial and political interest, he alleged.
The culpable act was against national interest and was also aided by certain officials and politicians to falsely implicate public personalities, including then chief minister, K Karunakaran, the petition said.
