Around 30 persons were today injured in a clash at Nandigarma village in Terlam mandal of the district today.
Sub-inspector of Terlam police station S Ravi said the injured were admitted to Badangi Government hospital and all of them were out of danger.
Four people from the village, while returning from Lingapuram, stopped at a liquor shop. Two of them started quarrelling while drinking.

The issue was then taken to elders of the village. During the meeting, there was a fresh quarrel which turned into a clash in which people who had gathered there to settle the dispute hit each other with sticks and threw stones.
Police had posted a team at the village and situation was peaceful, Ravi said.
