Auto thief arrested

An alleged auto thief has been

arrested and a car recovered from him, police said today.

The accused identified as Aman was arrested during checking of vehicles in Sector 24 last night, police said.

On interrogation, the accused revealed that he was member of a gang of auto-thieves, police said, adding a Swift car stolen by the gang from sector 49 area, on October 10, was also recovered.
