'Avengers: Infinity War' to introduce new Marvel character

"Avengers: Infinity War" may introduce a new character from the Marvel comics, according to directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

Although Joe and Anthony admitted they already have a full roster of Marvel superheroes in the upcoming movie, they said that other fan-favourites could make an appearance, reported Contactmusic.

"We already have our hands full trying to tell the story we have without pre-existing characters," Anthony said.

"Anthony would probably die from exhaustion if we introduced another character," Joe said, while but his brother added: "That's not to say we're not going to introduce a new character."

When asked if the character in question could be Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Anthony replied: "That's one we're going to have to plead the fifth on."
 

And after Anna Kendrick recently revealed her interest in playing Squirrel Girl, the directors are enthusiastic.

Joe said: "It would be perfect casting, and we're huge Anna Kendrick fans.
