Avril Lavigne shares journey of recovery from Lyme disease

Avril Lavigne has been open about her battle with Lyme disease and the singer recently updated her fans about her recovery from the infectious disease caused by bacteria.

Lavigne, 30, shared a snapshot of herself waiting for doctor for check up, reported E! online.

"On my way to good health #TakingCareOfMyself #FuckLymeDisease," she wrote.

"This journey continues... Just reach up, don't give up until you've touch the sky... We were all meant to fly... #DrOfficePhotoShoot @Hurley @amusesociety," she captioned her picture.

The "Complicated" hitmaker was in high spirits while getting clicked.

She was sporting casual look and a pair of flip-flops that spelled out love.
