Bangladeshi girl prisoner escapes from correctional home in WB

An 18-year-old Bangladeshi girl prisoner escaped from Alipore correctional home in the city, jail officials said today.

Minister in-charge Department of Correctional Administration Haider Aziz Safwai said a look out has been launched for the girl by the state police.

"Last night during the roll call of the prisoners it was found that she has escaped. A look out has been launched by the police," Safwi told PTI.

According to jail officials, the authorities are also looking at loopholes which helped Khatun to escape from the prison.
