Banks in Chandigarh asked to depute armed guards at ATMs

Perturbed with increasing incidents of loot inside ATMs, Chandigarh administration today ordered all banks to depute armed security guards at all the cash dispensing machines.

The order was issued by Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Shayin.
