Barley prices firmed up by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on uptick in demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains remained steady in thin trade.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries against restricted supplies from growing regions, mainly helped barley prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, barley rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,470-1,480 per quintal.
