Bengal Govt ink MoU with Burn Standard Co for Kolkata monorail
The West Bengal government today signed an MoU with Burn Standard Company to start monorail services from Budge Budge to Ruby Hospital on the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass connecting Kolkata with its outskirts.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the state government will provide land for the project which will go from Budge Budge and cross Taratala and Alipore to reach Ruby Hospital.
The total project has been estimated at Rs 4,216 crore, Banerjee said after a meeting of the state industry promotion and development board.
