Paper major Ballarpur Industries Ltd today reported 22.77 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 15.42 crore for the third quarter ended March 31.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.56 crore during the same period of previous year, Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,354.29 crore in the January-March quarter, as compared to Rs 1,230.69 crore during the same period of previous year.
BILT follows July-June fiscal year.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 14.66 per scrip at BSE, up 0.62 per cent from its previous close.
