BJP leader killed in Jharkhand

A booth committee president of BJP was murdered by unknown assailants at Silda village in Khunti district, Superintendent of Police Anis Gupta said today.

Sahodar Binjhia, president of BJP's Silda Booth Committee, had left home last night after getting a call in his phone.

His body was found between Karamdih and Silda villages under Karra police station this morning, Gupta said suspecting that Binjhia was crushed to death with stones.

Land dispute could be the reason behind the murder, he said adding two persons were detained in this connection.
