One of the four people, injured in a blast at a hotel here in December last year, has succumbed to his injuries, police said today.
"The man, who along with three others was injured in a blast in Surya Palace Hotel located in the Sayajigunj locality on December 18, 2013, succumbed to his injuries in a private hospital yesterday," said A B Saiyed police inspector Sayajigunj police station.
The blast had taken place when a meeting between Consul General of Israel in India Jonathan Miller and Vadodara city mayor Bharat Shah, Vadodara Municipal Corporation standing committee chairman Hitendra Patel, Municipal Commissioner Manish Bhardwaj, Friends of Israel General Secretary Nikita Contractor and others was underway.
A case registered under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered and police is investigating the case, sources said.
