Three students of the BSF Higher Secondary School identified as Maino Chechai (17) of Class XI Arts, K Joel Maring (17) of Class XI Science and Prateek Chetri (17) of Class XI Science had gone to the Spread Eagles Fall on October 11 for swimming when they were suspected to have drowned.
However, their bodies could not be recovered as the place of occurrence was very deep and there was a requirement of deep divers.
Four deep divers of 1st Battalion of NDRF swung into the search operation to locate the bodies of the drowned victims.
The deep divers at first could take out only two bodies. However, after a hard try could locate the third drowned victim, the sources added.
