Body of teenage girl found on railway tracks

Police today found body of a teenage girl on railway tracks in Sinhanigate area here, an official said.

The body is yet to be identified, Sinhanigate police station House Officer Yatendra Punia said, adding police reached the spot after being informed by passersby.

Punia did not deny a foul play behind the death of the girl and said police were trying to identify the body.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a 65-year-old person was killed allegedly in a train accident near Rathi mill in Vijaynagar area.

Police recovered few medicines and money from him, an official said, adding the body has been sent for post mortem. The body is yet to be identified, he said.
