Body of youth found in car near market

Decomposed body of a 25-year-old youth was found inside a car parked near DDA Market in Rohini area of outer Delhi for two days.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh, who lived with his family in Kanjhawala area. Rajesh's parents had registered a missing complaint at Kanjhawala police station on July 25.

Some locals today informed the police that a foul smell was emanating from a Honda City car which was parked near DDA Market for the last two days.

A police team reached the spot and broke open the car door and found a body wrapped in blanket inside the car, a senior police officer said.
 

Rajesh's identity was established from the car's documents, and his family was informed.

"Police have sent the body for post mortem examination and are awaiting its report to ascertain the exact cause of his death. Police are interrogating Rajesh's relatives and friends," the officer said, adding that further investigation is on.
