BU students face abuse from stranger, block road

Students of some Burdwan University affiliate colleges today blocked the G T Road for sometimes in protest against alleged obscene gesture to girl students by outsiders during a demonstration inside the campus.

General Secretary of BU, Aminul Islam said "Our activists stopped the outsiders and drove them out.

The students were protesting disparities in second year B Com, BSC marksheet results and also first year revuew results.

VC Smriti kumar Sarkar said a committe will be formed to examine the charges.
