Bypoll: BJP announces candidate for Kairana Assembly seat

Bhartiya Janata Party today announced its candidate for the bypoll for the Kairana Assembly seat.

Anil Singh Chauhan would be the party candidate for Kairana seat, a party spokesman said here.

Tomorrow is the last day of filing nomination papers and scrutiny would be held on September 29.

Polling would be held on October 15 followed by counting on October 19.

The bye-election has been necessitated after BJP MLA from this seat Hukum Singh was elected to Lok Sabha.
