Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett has placed her palatial Australian estate on the market for USD 14.75 million.
The 46-year-old "Elizabeth" actress and husband Andrew Upton, 49, are ready to part with their five-bedroom waterfront property, reported the New York Post.
Overlooking the Lane Cove River in Sydney, the sandstone-faced mansion is set on a lush parcel of land in the exclusive suburb of Hunter Hills. Called "Bulwarra", the estate was built in 1877.

Although initially constructed in the 19th century, the home boasts many modern amenities, from a stainless steel kitchen island to streamlined balconies wrapping around the second floor, which provide nearly unobstructed views of the river.
