'Chef' to release in India on June 13

American comedy film 'Chef' is all set to hit Indian screens on June 13.

The film, which opened at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, stars actor Jon Favreau in the titular role along with Sofia Vergara, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson.

The film revolves around a chef who loses his restaurant job and starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family.

'Chef', which was released in the US on on May 9, is written, produced and directed by Favreau.
