Cheryl Cole's dog recovering

Pop star Cheryl Cole is overjoyed as her pet childhood dog is headed for a speedy recovery.

The 30-year-old 'Girls Aloud' star was devastated when her dog Jack Russell Kiera was diagnosed with cancer.

She recently shared a photograph of Kiera with pre-operating pen-marks and told her fans she had been allowed home for a couple of days, reported Sun online.

"Kiera is responding well to her treatment. She is a little stressed but I am so relieved to see her and have her in my arms for the next two days," Cole said.
