Chilli and turmeric prices drifted lower by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists coupled with adequate stocks following increased arrivals from growing regions.
Chilli and turmeric prices fell Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 7,900-16,900 and Rs 8,100-11,800 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against sufficient stocks, mainly pulled down chilli and turmeric prices.
