CISF jawan killed, 7 injured in road accident in Kishtwar

A CISF personnel was killed while seven others were injured today when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Dool area of the district.

A vehicle of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was on its way to Kishtwar from Dool area when its driver lost control over it and it rolled down into the deep gorge, police said.

Eight jawans who were travelling in the vehicle were injured, police said, adding that they were rushed to district hospital at Kishtwar.

One of the paramilitary personnel was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Two seriously injured jawans were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu and five were still in district hospital Kishtwar, they added.
