Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today exuded confidence of "finding a solution soon" to the ongoing sealing drive in the national capital.
The assurance came after Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari along with other party leaders met the Union Housing and Urban Affairs minister here.
"President of @BJP4Delhi Shri @ManojTiwariMP met me todayTo discuss issues related to #Sealing. We are confident of finding a solution very soon, Puri said in a tweet.
Municipal corporations have been carrying out the sealing drive since December last year against commercial establishments for allegedly violating civic norms.
"The minister has assured the delegation that the Centre is trying to present a lawful solution before the Supreme Court," a statement issued by the BJP's Delhi unit said.
The BJP leaders told the minister that traders, especially those in Amar Colony and such other post independence refugee rehabilitation colonies, are working under fear and gloom, it said.
