Congress today demanded central funds for restoration of roads damaged by excessive rains in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today handed this demand to Union minister for surface transport Oscar Fernandes during his visit to Raj Bhavan.
Along with this, we have also demanded four-laning of National Highway 88 which connects Shimla with lower areas passing through other six states, Sukhu said.
