A court today granted bail to Congress MLA from Mann in Satara district of Maharashtra Jaykumar Gore arrested in connection with alleged kidnapping of a cooperative society election official.
Gore, who spent last night in police custody as the court had closed before he could be produced there, was granted bail by the Satara district court.
The official, S S Tayade, had been abducted from Satara district last month and was later found in Amravati.
He had made a statement against Gore.
