Construction worker falls from roof, dies

A 40-year-old construction worker died after she fell from the roof of an under construction house in Nand Gram area here today, police said.

SHO Upendra Yadav said that Phool Shree slipped from the roof of the under construction house and sustained severe injuries.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, the SHO added.
