A couple who allegedly cheated four doctors to the tune of Rs 10 lakh by promising higher monetary benefits under health insurance scheme had been arrested, police said today.
C S Karithik and K Radhika, arrested on a complaint from a city hospital.
One a doctor of the hospital was cheated to the tune of Rs 2 5 lakh by Radhika. Police later received complaints from three other doctors against the couple.
The Anna Nagar Police registered the case against the couple and seized two cars from them. The couple were remanded to judicial custody, police said.
