Couple hacked to death in MP

A couple was allegedly hacked to death at their farm in Manankheda village here by unidentified assailant, police said today.

The incident took place late last night when the victims--

Ratanlal Malviya (55) and his wife Kalabai Malviya (50)-- were asleep at the farm, they said.

"The unidentified assailant attacked the couple with sharp weapons," Jaora Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) K K Vyas said.

"The motive behind the murder is not yet clear," Vyas said, adding further probe is on.
