Courteney Cox engaged Johnny Mcdaid

Actress Courteney Cox is engaged to her rocker boyfriend Johnny Mcdaid.

The former 'Friends' star took to Twitter to share the good news with her followers by posting a close-up shot of herself with her new fiance, along with a caption which read: "I'm engaged to him," reported People magazine.

The Snow Patrol star, 37, posted the same 'selfie' on his Twitter page, and wrote, "I'm engaged to her!"

Cox, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday with McDaid in Turks and Caicos, began dating the rocker last year after mutual friend Ed Sheeran set them up.

The couple reportedly moved in together in April.
 

Cox was previously married to actor David Arquette with whom she split in 2010 after 11 years together. They have a 10-year-old daughter called Coco.
