Travel company Cox & Kings-owned MEININGER Hotels today said it has signed a management contract with VIY Management for a hotel in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The hotel, with 158 rooms and 548 beds, is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2018, a release said here.
The hotel will be spread over two floors.

The metropolis is continuously evolving and is the country's second-largest economic and financial center," MEININGER Hotels CEO Hannes Spanring said.
MEININGER is a subsidiary of Holidaybreak, a travel group specialising in educational and activity holidays and a subsidiary of Prometheon Holdings (UK) that is a part of Cox & Kings.
Currently, MEININGER operates 16 hotels in Europe, with a total of 7,025 beds in 10 cities - Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, London, Munich, Salzburg and Vienna.
