CPI-M urges WB govt to curb rising attacks on women

Senior CPI(M) leader Anisur Rahaman today urged West Bengal government to act immediately against attack on women in the state.
Raising the incident of alleged sexual assault of a six-year-old girl at a city school in the state Assembly, Rahaman expressed concern over the increasing cases of attack on women in the state.
Even school girls are not spared and such incidents were taking place frequently, he said, adding, only stern measures by the authority could prevent such incidents.
