Criminal arrested by STF

A criminal carrying a reward on his head and absconding for five years was arrested here today by the Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh police.

A police spokesman said Achchan alias Lamboo, who carried a reward of Rs 10,000, was arrested by a team of STF sleuths from Madiaon area and a country-made firearm was recovered from him.

The arrested criminal has 12 cases against him, including those of murder, attempt to murder and dacoity.
